Mr. Donaldson joined the firm in 1995 after serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program. Mr. Donaldson has extensive experience in structuring substantial estates, negotiating sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, and designing business succession plans for owners of closely-held businesses.

Mr. Donaldson is also a Lecturer of Law at the University of Washington School of Law, where he teaches Corporate Tax, Estate and Gift Tax, Introduction to Income Tax, and Estate Planning for Closely-Held Business Owners. He is licensed to practice as an active member of the bar in Arizona, Oregon, and Washington.

Mr. Donaldson earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, and his low degree from the University of Arizona. He holds two undergraduate degrees from Oregon State University.
